Published : 30/07/08 A man who lost his wedding ring while clapping at a Milton Keynes Dons football match has been offered a bespoke replacement, it has emerged. Tom Carrey was applauding the return from injury of player Paul Mitchell when his wedding band was spotted flying through the area, preceding a week of high-profile searching by the fan, reports MK-News. Then a local jeweller offered to make a replacement after spotting the story, in news that may be of interest to football fans with gold diamond rings and a hearty clapping technique. Mr Carrey told the news provider that the offer was emotional experience. "It's my wife's birthday today and our anniversary is coming up so this is brilliant for us," he added. In related news, a jeweller from New York recently enlisted the city's refuse collection authorities in a search through rubbish to find her lost diamond stud earrings.
