A diamond necklace with a difference was sported by one guest at Elton John's White Tie & Tiara Ball this weekend.
Georgia Quinn turned up wearing a strawberry around her neck - her husband Mark Quinn had taken a fruit from a Marks & Spencer punnet, cast it in gold and studded with 500 diamonds, reports the Telegraph.
Mark Quinn's sculpture of Alison Lapper was placed on the fourth plinth of Trafalgar Square in 2005.
Nevertheless, there may have been enough jewellery on display at the famous summer bash to ensure that the unique diamond necklace did not monopolise attention.
According to the news provider, supermodel Naomi Campbell was "draped in enough diamonds to fund a general election".
Despite the poor weather, "nothing could dampen the spirits of the 630 party-goers at £3,000 a head for the 10th annual White Tie & Tiara Ball, nor dull the sparkle of the amazing jewels which glittered in the cavalcade of bronzed cleavage, shimmering in the candle-lit setting", the newspaper observed.
