A gold diamond ring featuring a gem once owned by Jacqueline Onassis is being auctioned on the web.
The gem was originally bought by Sotheby's in 1996 from the Onassis estate, following which it was sold to Christine Caine Jewellers in the same year and set in an 18-carat gold ring.
Now, the ring is being sold online through a consignment shop based in Winchester, reports the Associated Press.
With a face value of $1,500 (£778), collector interest in the Kennedy's has driven the price to more than $10,000.
Carl Johnson, owner of the shop, told the organisation: "It's the diamond's history that gives this piece distinct appeal. The fact that it was worn by our country's most glamorous first lady is truly compelling for collectors."
Meanwhile, an auction at Christie's this week saw a necklace once owned by Christina Onassis - Jackie O's stepdaughter - sold for £3.6 million.
