A new range of engagement rings celebrates romance with a variety of designs. The new French Kiss collection from Van Cleef & Arpels features heart shape diamond rings, emerald cut diamond rings and elegant diamond solitaires, reports the Korea Times.Described by the jeweller as a celebration of love, the collection also features diamond necklaces in which the gems form flower patterns. The range was unveiled with the help of models, sporting wedding dresses that offset the jewellery perfectly."Francois' ultra-feminine, sensual but tasteful wedding gowns were the perfect foil for Van Cleef & Arpels' jewels," the newspaper comments.Gold zippers created a corset-effect on one gown, while others included a figure-hugging lace number and a kimono-inspired outfit.Van Cleef & Arpels was founded in 1896 in Paris and has designed jewellery for Marlene Dietrich, Eva Peron and Grace Kelly. The company designed the tiara worn by Grace Kelly when she became the princess of Monaco in the 1950s.
