A wide diamond bracelet or cuff could give amateur superheroes the burst of power they need to take on the world.
The Toronto Star observes that superhero style is currently making an impact in New York, inspired by the exhibition Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy, showing at the city's Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Women looking to work the look into their wardrobes are advised by the newspaper to try a Wonder Woman-style cuff, which the publication points out can be worn by anyone, regardless of age or dress size.
"Slip on a wide cuff and it immediately gives heft to delicate wrists, signifying strength and power. The over-sized width, like a gauntlet, also gives the appearance of protection," suggests the article.
An oversized diamond bracelet could be made from a "dazzling array" of materials, including precious metals and resin.
The exhibition runs at the museum, located on New York's Fifth Avenue, until September 8th.
