Nixon 'outshines co-stars in diamonds'

Cynthia Nixon may have rivalled Sarah Jessica Parker in the style stakes at this week's world premier of Sex and the City: The Movie in London.


The actress, who plays Miranda in both the hit series and the forthcoming film, shimmered in Bulgari diamonds, reports the Metro.


She paired the diamond drop earrings with a plunging Calvin Klein dress, which the news provider described as "lavish".


Meanwhile, leading lady Sarah Jessica Parker wore British designer Alexander McQueen, while Kim Cattrall sported a Vivienne Westwood dress and Davis went for the vintage look.


The actress who played New York writer Carrie Bradshaw expressed a desire to star in a West End show, noting: "It's a destination point for an actor."


Nixon's diamonds could have been particularly appropriate for a visit to London, a new Halifax study suggests.
