Nancy 'still wears Sven's diamond ring'

Nancy Dell'Olio still wears the huge diamond ring that former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson gave her, it has emerged.


The ring was noticed during an interview with the Independent newspaper. When asked about the ring, Dell'Olio said that Eriksson has a "very good taste in jewellery".


Eriksson gave her the ring shortly after rumours of an affair with another woman started circulated several years ago. While Eriksson and Dell'Olio eventually broke up, she still wears the diamond.


"He [bought] it to please me and he knows I like big things," Dell'Olio told the Independent.


Other publications have noted the fact that Dell'Olio has kept the ring, with the feisty Italian telling the Daily Mail that it was her right to keep hold of the diamond jewellery.


She said that she "deserved" the shiny object and that she did not think anyone would want such a thing back.
