A selection of flawless diamonds and jewellery from the collection of Christina Onassis is to be auctioned at the Christies London Jewels Show.
Pieces from Cartier, Chaumet and Harry Winston are among those to be sold at the event, taking place on June 11th 2008.
More than 230 bracelets, rings, necklaces and other designer jewellery items are to be featured, with highlights said to include a crossover Graff ring featuring a pear-shaped flawless diamond.
Daughter of Greek ship owner Aristotle Onassis, the owner of the collection ran her father's shipping business after his death.
The auction house expects that the collection is to raise more than £8 million, with pieces estimated to be worth between £2,000 and £2.2 million.
Founded in 1766, Christies has over 600 global auctions annually and made art auction history in 2007 with a sales total of £3.1 billion.
