Celebrity style icon Madonna has been promoting her latest album with the help of a diamond sparkler.
The queen of pop has been given a piece of bespoke jewellery by designer Chopard, which she wears on the cover of Hard Candy, released this month.
Crafted by the company's co-president, Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, the ring uses 258 brilliant-cut white diamonds to spell out the name M-dolla - the singer's hip-hop alter-ego.
A single mobile diamond - Chopard's signature - is set in the letter M's flourish.
The material girl also sports diamond necklace made by the Swiss designer jewellery expert on the cover.
Madonna's relationship with Chopard is a long-standing one - the accessories specialist designed the diamond necklace she wore on stage while performing Hung Up, the hit single from Ms Ciccone's last album, Confessions on a Dance Floor.
The video for Madonna's 1985 single Material Girl recreated Marilyn Monroe's rendition of the song Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend in the 1953 movie Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
