Is Adrien Brody engaged?

American actor Adrien Brody has set a date for his wedding to Spanish girlfriend, actress Elsa Pataky, according to a report.

Ireland Online publicised the couple's rumoured engagement after Pataky was snapped by photographers wearing a new jewellery design on the third finger of her left hand.

The publication said they will marry in Spain next year; they have been in a relationship for two years and live together in New York.

It quoted a friend as saying to Star magazine that "Elsa said it was a promise ring from Adrien and that they were going to get married next year in Spain".

Brody came to the public's attention in the lead role of The Pianist, for which he won the best actor Academy Award, while Pataky is well known in Spanish and French cinema and recently occupied a supporting role in the Samuel L Jackson film Snakes On A Plane.
