Diamond-designing Wentz 'not to be a father'

Pete Wentz has confirmed that he is not expecting a child with fiancee Ashlee Simpson.


Rumours that the singer is pregnant were denied by the Fall Out Boy singer, who recently gave a diamond ring to his soon-to-be wife, sister of Jessica.


Wentz told the press that while the couple were planning to get married, reports of an impending bundle of joy were untrue.


"We're engaged, that's true - and happy about it," he said.


A source close to the couple told OK! Magazine that Wentz could potentially design bespoke jewellery pieces for the couple's wedding bands.


"Pete may personally design their wedding bands," the friend told the news provider.


The source said that the emo star designed the diamond and silver 'promise ring' he gifted Simpson with recently.


Ashlee Simpson's third album, Bittersweet World, is due for release this month, while a new live DVD from Fall Out Boy came out at the beginning of April.
