Cheeky Girl Gabriela Irimia is now engaged to her MP beau Lembit Opik - and she has a diamond ring to prove it.
The Liberal Democrat MP for Montgomeryshire proposed to his pop star partner at the Trevi Fountain in Rome last week, an interview in Hello! magazine revealed.
Now, the singer of novelty hit The Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum) is adorned with a Tiffany diamond ring and planning a "lavish white wedding in a castle", the publication stated.
"We were euphoric afterwards, walking around the city and then sipping champagne and chatting away in our hotel suite until the early hours," Irimia told the magazine.
The couple met when they were both contestants on the All Star Channel Show, broadcast on Five in 2006.
Opik subsequently broke up with then-fiance Sian Lloyd, the ITV weather presenter.
His new fiance and her twin sister Monica were born in 1982 in Transylvania, Romania and shot to fame on Popstars: The Rivals.
